Chicago's Gentleman's Clubs Split Between the Strip and the North Side

Chicago has a genuinely large gentleman's-club market split between the River North / downtown cluster and the North Side industrial corridor. Admiral Theatre on Lawrence has operated since 1927 (originally a movie house); The VIP's, Heavenly Bodies, and a dozen others stack the market.

Illinois law permits topless-with-alcohol and full-nude BYOB under separate licenses. Cook County enforcement is consistent and the larger clubs have operated for decades through shifting legal climates.

The downtown rooms carry the tourist and bachelor-party weight; the North Side clubs are the rooms with the longer histories and the local regulars. Uber in, Uber out for all of them.
