Lollapalooza 2026 Lineup Drops This Month
The biggest pre-summer ritual on Chicago's music calendar is nearly here. The Lollapalooza 2026 lineup drops in April, ahead of the festival's July 30 – August 2 takeover of Grant Park. The festival has already confirmed the 2026 dates, and industry chatter points to a headliner slate that includes Charli XCX, Lorde, Tate McRae, Olivia Dean, John Summit, Jennie, The Smashing Pumpkins, and The xx — the strongest draw in Lolla's recent memory.
Lollapalooza takes over 115 acres of downtown Chicago's Grant Park, with eight stages packed between the Buckingham Fountain and Michigan Avenue. The festival has been a fixture in Chicago for more than two decades and sends early-bird ticket waves out each year within hours of the lineup announcement.
If you're going: Chicago Transit Authority runs expanded service to the park during festival days. Hotels in the Loop and South Loop book out fastest. Pack for Chicago humidity, rain, and sudden lake-effect temperature swings — possibly all in the same afternoon.
